Dhaka, Feb 28- – An IMF mission here yesterday exchanged views with Finance Minister SAMS Kibria on Bangladesh’s macro-economy, monetary and exchange rate policies as well as fiscal measures.

During the meeting at the minister’s office, the mission led by Luis Valdivieso was briefed by Kibria on the government policy in the fields of economy, agriculture and revenue collection.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Mohammad Farasuddin, Finance Secretary Dr Akber Ali Khan, World Bank Country Director Frederick T Temple and IMF Resident Representative Ronald P Hicks were present at the meeting.
